You probably have most of the ingredients for these simple drop biscuits in your pantry. These cheesy biscuits will be the perfect addition to serve with soup, chili, and pasta. They’re the perfect no-fuss side to bring to a dinner party or holiday feast. They will disappear in a flash!
No Fuss, No Mixer, No Problem

These easy biscuits can quickly hit the table with common pantry staples: all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, milk, butter, and spices. I usually add a block of cheese to my weekly shopping list to ensure I always have the needed ingredients.
I like to grate the cheese during my weekly meal prep. While it doesn’t take long to shred cheese, five minutes can feel like an hour on a busy Monday night.
Simple Steps
Mix the dry ingredients. Add the wet ingredients. Fold in the cheese (quote Schitt’s Creek). Bake!

Tips
- Mix the dough until just combined. Add a tablespoon or two of milk until the dough resembles the photo above.
- You can substitute the cheese in this recipe. I’ve enjoyed subbing in shredded pepper jack, cheddar, and mozzarella.
- Have some caramelized onions handy? Fold 1/2 a cup into the dough for a hint of sweetness.
- Store leftover biscuits in an airtight container for up to three days.
- Crumble leftover biscuits over an Everyday Lunch Salad for added flavor and texture.
